"Girls Band Cry" (ガールズバンドクライ, Gāruzu Bando Kurai) is an anime and multimedia project by Toei Animation about a group of girls with circumstances forming a band. It premiered from April 6th to June 29th, 2024 on Japanese stations Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The show was announced in March 2023. That was followed up with the release of several music videos over the following year. The production is headed up by Love Live! Sunshine director Kazuo Sakai[1] and that show's writer Jukki Han
